Captains James and Shelly Rands

We were appointed pastors at The Salvation Army Saskatoon Temple in September of 2007. Originally from Ontario, we were commissioned from The Salvation Army Training College in St. John’s, Newfoundland with the “Preparers of the Way” session. This is our second appointment as Salvation Army Officers.

We share a passion for ministry as we seek to serve God through servant leadership. Our love for God and for people spills over into our ministry as we endeavor to connect on many levels within the Saskatoon area. Our ministry is based on relationships as we seek to unite people with God through fellowship and Christian Community.

We have two beautiful children (Tessa and Shyloh) who love God and embrace new friendships and challenges within Saskatoon. Together our family looks forward to all that God has planned for us in our future within “Toon-Town” as well as the rest of our ministry in The Salvation Army.
